Description
The Sonoma V2 Blackout is a drop point knife with black G10 scales, a brass backspacer, and a black PVD Elmax blade. It has a titanium liner lock and a bearing pivot assembly. The knife is manufactured by Reate Knives and is parallel imported.
The Sonoma V2 has gone to the dark side. The original Sonoma frame lock was designed as an urban utility folder in flat titanium. For V2, Jens and Jesper designed an outdoor working liner lock with rounded scales. This Blackout version of the Sonoma V2 sports black G10 scales, a brass backspacer, and a black PVD Elmax blade. As with the original Sonoma, the Sonoma V2 is manufactured by Reate Knives.
With its slim profile and comfortable ergos, the Sonoma V2 is bound to become a favorite "go-to" folder for outdoor adventurers. Perfect for day-hikes or week-long backpacking trips, the Sonoma V2 packs light but will perform heavy cutting tasks along the way.
The decision on the name for this folder is a nod to Sonoma County which lies just north of GiantMouse's original headquarters in Marin County, California.
